Albondón

25th August. The fiestas in honour of the patron saint of Albondón, Saint Louis King of France, have been held here since 1736, and include sporting and cultural activities. Highlights are the reenactment of the struggles between Moors and Christians, a fireworks display and a dance that is open to all and which continues until the early hours.

Last weekend in May. The procession in honour of St. Isidore. After the procession, try the tasty local dishes, with cured meats, migas with sausage and black pudding and, of course, what can never be missing from any celebration, the delicious wine made in the vineyards of Albondón.
